Forza the horizon game review
Finally, after a long wait, Microsoft's first powerful games arrive for the new generation of games, and it is a new part of one of the most powerful game series in the world that has won countless prizes. Of course, I'm talking about the Forza series. Forza Horizon 5 is a game that will take your Xbox Series X to its fullest potential, and even if you have a PC it won't be easy on your graphics card, it's absolutely stunning, and there's a lot to do.
What a wonderful Mexico!
In each part of Forza, a country is chosen to host the events of the game, and where Britain was the scene of the events of the fourth part, this time it was moved to Mexico. It's a really convenient option because of the wide variety of terrain and climate, which will play an important role in this year's edition. It is very important to talk about the splendor of the environment, as this game is of an open world type, there are 11 different terrains that you will experience in the game, ranging from forests and deserts, between swamps and cities. And you will never get bored with the game's map being 50% larger compared to the map of the previous part.

The series has always been very beautiful in terms of its graphics and appearance, but how do you beat that with the new generation of games? Well the biggest plus this year is the weather, so Mexico was a great choice for the game. One of the most prominent weather conditions that I think the residents of the Middle East will find very familiar is sandstorms, where the world will turn orange and you will find yourself in the middle of the storm with your vehicle and the excitement at its top. There are multiple weather conditions, and the game has once again done the seasons feature that will make you live in all the different weathers.
And for those who are interested in the details of the technical performance of the game, as we mentioned in the review of the game a few weeks ago, it offers two different modes of graphics and performance on Xbox Series X. The first gives you the best graphics in 4K with working at 30 frames, while the other gives you variable graphics resolution with stability on Speed 60 frames. And there are the PC gamers, of course, as we played with the Extreme graphics option with the RTX 3090, and got everything we wanted, true 4K resolution and well over 60 frames per second.
welcome to adventure
What makes Forza different from any other car game is that it is a car game for everyone, and you don't have to be a car lover to enjoy here. Who wants to be restricted within a recurring circular path? In Forza Horizon, the whole world is your track, and you are free to do whatever you want with it, with different types of cars. Want to enter races? You so, you want to roam freely? For that, you want to implement the different skills of the car, such as jumping, “driving” and others.
There are more than 500 cars in the game available since the day the game was launched, which is the largest number in the history of the series. You will find very modern cars such as the new Ford Bronco, which will be part of the educational start of the game during the first minutes.
Bumpy roads in Forza Horizon 5
The game includes a story mode, and it will contain cinematic clips that tell you about the various events and missions that you will be facing. You can expect many types of crazy missions in the game that you will have a great time completing. For example, at the beginning of the game, there will be a mission in which a cargo plane races, and then in the middle of the previous, the plane descends, racers on motorcycles who participate in the race suddenly. There are missions where you search for a lost car, then drive a truck to bring the lost car back to the mission location. In the game there will be a navigation assistant named Anna, who will guide you to the next missions, collecting Accolade points to advance in the story.
Everyone is invited to attend
The cool thing about Forza Horizon is that you don't have to play alone, go to the race, and you'll see the option of co-op play, bring your friend and enjoy the competition together. There are many multiplayer modes as well, such as Horizon Open, which includes modes such as Open Racing and Open Drifting, where you can play with your friends in races and challenges, but remove the penalty clauses that were in the past to make the mode more receptive to new players. There is also the Eliminator mode that records its return, which can be described as a battle royale mode of the game, where challenges are entered against other cars and the loser of them is excluded from the game until only one car remains. Finally, there is the Events Lab mode where players can create challenges, races, and mini-games and share them with their friends, an evolution of the previous Super 7 mode.
Forza Horizon 5 never disappoints, it's Playground Games' best production to date, and the most fun car game you can have at the moment.
